Description
The Albin-28 Tournament Express is a Downeast-style cruiser/fishing yacht. This is the ideal boat for either the cruising family of the serious sport fisherman. The roomy cabin, with 6' 5" headroom, has all the comforts for weekend cruising while the large cockpit provides an excellent platform for offshore fishing. The hull has been designed to give a smooth, stable ride in the heaviest sea conditions. The modified V-hull has a deep forefoot and a keel/skeg configuration for propeller and rudder protection. The Albin 28 has a speed range from 20 to 30 knots.As with all Albin yachts, only the highest quality materials are used in the construction of the Albin-28. The fiberglass hull incorporates both biaxial and unidirectional cloth for extra strength and end-grain balsa core for deck reinforcement. The hardware includes bronze seacocks and through-bolted stainless steel fittings with backing plates. The list of standard equipment includes everything necessary for comfortable and safe blue water cruising and fishing. Throughout the world, the yachts built by Albin Marine have always represented quality, comfort, and performance. For a cruising sport fisherman, the Albin-28 is truly one of the finest yachts available. Her beam is 10' which provides a large fishing cockpit comfortable for up to 5 adults and built in to the transom is an insulated fish hold and a live bait tank. There is also a roomy saloon, a full private head with shower and hot & cold running water.
